Holiday Angel Tree

Honoring Grieving Children with Compassion and Joy

The Holiday Angel Tree is a heartfelt annual program created for children who have experienced the loss of a parent. Held each December, this event helps normalize grief during the holiday season and reminds children that they are seen, remembered, and supported.

Each participating child submits a personal gift wish list, and—thanks to the generosity of individuals and local businesses—they receive items from that list, along with thoughtful extras and meaningful surprises.

In addition to receiving gifts, children and their families are invited to attend a special holiday gathering—a warm, supportive space where they can connect with others who understand their journey. This celebration offers comfort, joy, and community at a time when those things matter most.

More than just a gift exchange, Holiday Angel Tree is a moment of healing and togetherness for families navigating grief.

How You Can Help

There are several meaningful ways to support this annual event:

  • Sign up a child who has lost a parent—or share the opportunity with a child’s guardian

  • Sponsor a child by shopping from their wish list

  • Make a financial donation to support gifts and event costs

  • Volunteer to wrap gifts in the weeks leading up to the event

  • Assist with the holiday gathering, helping create a joyful, welcoming atmosphere

Year after year, the Holiday Angel Tree brings warmth, hope, and connection to families who need it most. We invite you to be a part of it.
