There is such power in letting go.
When I first saw these words, “these mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb,” I had an ah-ha moment. How often do we become burdened, bitter, or resentful because we insist on holding onto these mountains that we’ve already climbed? Instead of embracing the tools and lessons learned while climbing and then releasing the things that will weigh us down, we hold onto it all. Instead of allowing the experience to be part of our story, it becomes the definition of who we are. There is great danger in that.
I challenge you to think about these things:
-What mountains have you climbed and conquered, but continue to carry the rocks that you picked up along the way?
-What beliefs have you committed as truths that are weighing you down?
-What are you willing to do to let go of the things, people, and/or thoughts that are holding you back from reaching your full potential?
Please know, there is such power in letting go!
